The instructional mission of the Library is to support and initiate opportunities for staff and students to develop skills for identifying, retrieving, and evaluating information in curriculum and work-disciplined pursuits. Staff and students will be exposed to tools and resources to foster their ability to “incorporate selected information into their knowledge base and value system”, according to the Information Literacy Competency Standards of the Association of College and Research Libraries.
